Office for iPad updated with PDF export and quick gestures

Office

Microsoft has released a new update for its Office apps on iPad, bringing some useful features and improvements. One of the most notable additions is the ability to export documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as PDF files, which can be useful for sharing or printing your work. To do this, you just need to tap the File menu and choose Export.

Another new feature is the move gesture, which allows you to quickly perform common actions with a simple swipe. For example, you can scroll up or down a cell in Excel to increase or decrease its value, or scroll right or left on a word in Word to select or deselect it.

You can also slide a slide in PowerPoint to move it up or down in the presentation. To enable this feature, go to Settings > General > Trackpad & mouse and turn on Flicks.

The update also includes some bug fixes and performance improvements, making Office apps more stable and responsive on your iPad.

You can download the latest versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from the App Store. If you have comments or suggestions, you can send them to Microsoft through the Help & Feedback section in the apps.

Microsoft has released version 1.1 of its Office applications for iPad (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) with new features that improve productivity and creativity. New features include PDF export, presentation views, and a new motion gesture.

The Office apps for iPad launched in March and received (mostly) positive feedback from users and critics. Microsoft's Office team said in a blog post Thursday that the apps have been downloaded by "millions" of users.

Some of the new features are common to all three apps, such as the ability to export documents as PDF files, which was one of the most requested features by users.

Another common feature is the ability to crop photos and images in apps using a new crop tool that lets you choose from a list of preset sizes or create your own. You can also reset the crop if you change your mind. Additionally, Office for iPad now supports importing from external sources.

PowerPoint: presentation mode added

The biggest update to the PowerPoint app is the addition of presentation mode, which lets you view your notes on your iPad while projecting the presentation to another screen.

This feature is useful for making presentations in a professional environment. You can also add background music or videos to your slides to make them more attractive. Additionally, the new draft and open settings make annotating easier, according to Microsoft.

Excel: a welcome update for external keyboards!

If you work with Excel on your mobile device, you know how tedious it can be to enter data using the touch screen. This is why many users have been asking for the ability to use external keyboards with the Excel application. Well, the wait is over! The latest update brings this feature to life, allowing you to connect any Bluetooth or USB keyboard to your device and use it with Excel.

This will make data entry faster, easier and more accurate. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to navigate and edit your spreadsheets. For more information about this update and how to use external keyboards with Excel.

Microsoft has released a major update to its PowerPoint app for Android devices, bringing some new features and improvements that will improve the user experience. One of the highlights of this update is presentation mode, which allows users to view their notes on their tablet screen while showing the slides on a projector or monitor.

This feature is similar to what Google recently introduced for its Chromebox devices for meetings. Users can also add background music or videos to their presentations, making them more engaging and interactive.

Additionally, the update also includes new draft and open settings options that make it easier to annotate slides during a presentation. These features are designed to help users create and deliver professional and effective presentations using their Android tablets.
