3. Save the file to your desktop. When the zip file has finished downloading, click
Right click on the file and select “Extract All / Extract Here”. Now, open the folder next to

and click “Run as administrator”.

The purpose of this .bat file is to tell the setup.exe file to use the file
installconfig.xml during installation. This will determine the correct version and language of
Office that must be downloaded from Microsoft servers. This method will download a
Pro Plus 2024 “preview” version, but the version name will change after the
activation. The download/installation method will be simplified when Pro Plus 2024 is released
officially.

5. Once Office is installed, open any Office application (for example, Word or Excel).
Enter the product key and click “Activate”. If you don’t see any option to enter the
product key, click “Choose another account” and then “Enter a product key”
instead.»
