New Outlook application for Windows 11 widely available

We are pleased to announce that the new Outlook for Windows 11 app is now generally available to all users. The new Outlook app is designed to help you stay connected, organized and productive with a modern and intuitive user interface, improved performance and reliability, and seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 apps and services.

– A simplified ribbon that gives you quick access to the most common commands and allows you to customize your toolbar with the tools you use most often.

– A new message list that shows more information at a glance, such as sender name, subject, preview, attachments, flags and categories.

– A new reading panel that allows you to easily switch between different views, such as single, portrait or landscape, and adjust the zoom level and text size according to your preferences.

– A new writing experience that allows you to create and send messages faster and easier, with inline suggestions, @mentions, emojis, GIFs and stickers.

– A new search box that helps you find what you need faster and more accurately, with natural language queries, suggested keywords and filters.

– A new calendar view that displays your events in a more visual and interactive way, with color-coded categories, weather information, maps and directions.

– A new task pane that allows you to manage your tasks and to-do lists in one place, with drag-and-drop functionality, due dates, reminders and subtasks.

– A new people center that allows you to access your contacts and groups in one place, with profile pictures, presence indicators, communication history and quick actions.
